Description

The Fragma Right is a single-light wall fitting built around a flowing ribbon-like frame in black chrome that curves upward and outward to hold a frosted and clear glass globe. The frame mounts on a circular 110mm black chrome backplate and incorporates a built-in toggle switch positioned on the right side of the fitting, eliminating the need for a separate wall switch for bedside or reading corner installations. The globe houses a G9 capsule bulb (sold separately), which can be dimmable if paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable G9 LED.

Designed for bedside walls, reading nooks next to armchairs and hallway accent lighting, the Fragma Right projects 140mm from the wall with the globe sitting approximately 200mm to the right of the backplate's centre line. The asymmetric right-handed orientation allows it to be installed alone or mirrored with the Fragma Left on an opposite wall to create symmetrical bedside lighting in double bedrooms. The 190mm width and 240mm height suit walls with limited vertical space, such as above bedside tables or alongside mirrors.

The black chrome finish on the metal frame provides a gunmetal tone that sits between polished chrome and matt black, pairing with both warm-toned interiors (where it acts as a cool contrast) and monochrome contemporary schemes. The frosted section of the glass globe diffuses the G9 bulb's output while the clear glass at the base adds a decorative detail when viewed from below. Is this dimmable?

Dimming is possible if you install a dimmable G9 LED bulb and connect the fitting to a compatible wall dimmer on the circuit feeding the light. The built-in switch on the fitting itself is an on/off toggle only, not a dimmer control.

What bulb does it take?

The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W warm-white LED G9 bulb (2700K-3000K) for bedside or reading light. Maximum wattage depends on the bulb type chosen.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Fragma Right carries no IP rating in the specification provided, so it is suitable for bathroom zones outside the immediate shower or bath area (Zone 3 and beyond). It should not be installed within reach of someone using a shower or bath.

Is there a left-handed version?
