The Fragma is a 690mm semi-flush ceiling light with six G9 bulb fittings arranged on sweeping polished chrome arms that loop and curve from a central mounting point. Each arm terminates in a spherical glass shade combining frosted and clear zones, creating contrast between diffused light and sharper reflections. The chrome arms twist in different planes, giving the fitting a sculptural presence that reads differently from various angles in the room.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the 170mm projection keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the six lights provide sufficient spread for a 4-5m room. The semi-flush format avoids the deeper drop of a pendant, making it suitable where a traditional chandelier would feel intrusive. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient daylight and adjacent light sources, amplifying the looping metalwork and adding movement to what is otherwise a static fitting.

What bulbs does the Fragma take?

The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users install 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700-3000K) for general living spaces. The frosted-clear glass shades work well with both LED and halogen G9 capsules.

Is the Fragma dimmable?

Yes, if fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself is passive — dimming depends entirely on the bulb type and circuit dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 170mm projection makes the Fragma suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights. In rooms with ceilings below 2.3m the fitting may feel visually intrusive, though it remains safely above head height in circulation areas.

How is the chrome finish maintained?

Polished chrome shows fingerprints and dust more readily than brushed or satin finishes. Wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid spray polishes or abrasive cleaners that can scratch the chrome plating.
