Description

The Focus Zoom is a surface-mounted LED spotlight with a cylindrical black aluminium body housing an integrated 12W LED module delivering 3000K warm white light. The zoom function adjusts the beam angle from a tight 15° spot to a wide 50° flood, controlled by rotating the front lens assembly, allowing the same fitting to work as accent lighting for artwork or as broader task illumination over worktops and desks.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors where directional light is needed without recessed ceiling voids, the spotlight mounts directly to plasterboard or solid ceilings via a circular 52mm diameter backplate. The body pivots on the base to aim light in any direction across a 355° horizontal rotation and approximately 90° vertical tilt. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, retail displays, galleries and hospitality spaces with standard ceiling heights of 2.4-3m.

The black finish is a low-sheen powder coat over die-cast aluminium, giving the fitting a 164mm projection from the ceiling when mounted and a total weight of approximately 0.4kg. The high CRI rating (typically 80+) renders colours accurately under the warm white output, while the low UGR specification reduces glare when the spotlight is positioned outside direct sightlines. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to over 10 years at 8 hours daily use.
