Description

The Focus S is a single-head surface-mounted spotlight with a cylindrical black aluminium body mounted on a low-profile circular base. The head tilts and rotates on a swivel joint, allowing light from the GU10 bulb (sold separately, up to 10W) to be directed at specific wall features, artwork, or task surfaces. The recessed bulb position minimises glare and gives a cleaner beam edge than exposed-bulb spotlights.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors with standard ceiling heights, the Focus S suits accent lighting in living rooms and hallways, task lighting above kitchen worktops or desks, and retail display lighting where directed beams highlight merchandise without flooding the whole space. The 128mm projection from ceiling to spotlight head means the fitting sits low enough not to dominate smaller rooms, while the 52mm base diameter fits onto standard UK ceiling roses or can be surface-fixed directly to plasterboard or solid ceilings.

The black powder-coat finish on the aluminium body provides a matt surface that absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, making the fitting itself recede visually when lit. This allows the lit object or surface to take focus rather than the spotlight housing. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas — bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor installations require higher IP-rated alternatives.
