Description

The Focus S Long is a single surface-mounted spotlight with a 19.2cm extended cylindrical base and a 360° swivel head, finished in matte gold. The spotlight takes a single GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately) and mounts directly to ceiling or wall surfaces via a concealed fixing plate inside the cylindrical base. The swivel mechanism allows the light beam to be directed at any angle within a full sphere of rotation, making it suitable for accent lighting on artwork, architectural features, or retail displays.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting in residential, hospitality and commercial interiors, the extended base gives the fitting a more substantial presence than shorter surface spotlights while still maintaining a compact 5.2cm diameter footprint. The 360° rotation means a single fitting can serve multiple angles depending on how furniture or displays are rearranged, without needing to reposition the mounting point. The matte gold finish provides a warmer metallic tone than polished brass or chrome, pairing comfortably with warm-toned interiors, natural timber, and both contemporary and industrial design schemes.

The IP20 rating limits the Focus S Long to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam, or outdoor use. Can the spotlight head rotate in all directions?

Yes. The head rotates 360° on a ball joint inside the cylindrical body, allowing the beam to be directed at any angle. This means the fitting can highlight different areas as furniture or displays are rearranged without needing to reposition the mounting point.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you fit a dimmable GU10 LED and pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer on the circuit, the spotlight will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not work with dimmers.

Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating means the spotlight is suitable only for dry indoor environments. It is not rated for bathrooms (which require IP44 or higher in zones 1-2) or kitchens with heavy steam exposure. Use in dining rooms, living rooms, hallways, offices and bedrooms is appropriate.
