Description

The Focus S is a 10cm cylindrical wall light in matte gold aluminium, housing a single GU10 downlighting fitting that directs light towards the floor or surface below. The cylindrical body measures 5.2cm in diameter and mounts flush to the wall via a circular backplate, projecting approximately 8cm from the wall surface when installed.

Designed for accent and task lighting rather than primary room illumination, the Focus S works well above bedside tables for focused reading light, in hallways to define circulation paths, flanking mirrors or artwork, and in alcoves where directional light is needed without glare at eye level. The downward beam angle suits positions 1.8-2.2m above floor level, where the light can wash down a wall or highlight architectural detail below.

The matte gold finish is a low-sheen brushed aluminium that reduces reflections under daylight and provides a warm metallic accent against white, grey or darker wall colours. The aluminium construction keeps the fitting light at approximately 300g total weight, allowing installation on standard plasterboard without needing additional support. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose between warm white 2700K for softer ambience or daylight 4000K for crisper task light.

The IP20 rating limits the Focus S to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installations or any area exposed to moisture. The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects when the fitting is installed by a qualified electrician to UK wiring regulations.
