Description

The Focus S is a 2-light track spotlight bar with two independently adjustable cylindrical GU10 heads mounted on a matt black aluminium rail. Each head rotates and tilts on a ball joint, allowing light to be directed at artwork, architectural features, walls or worktops. The 344mm-long mounting bar fixes to the ceiling via a single rectangular backplate and houses the electrical connections for both lamps.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, retail spaces and galleries where accent lighting is needed without permanent ceiling penetrations for individual downlights, the Focus S provides two independently controllable beams from one ceiling fixing. The heads accept standard GU10 bulbs up to 10W (sold separately), allowing the user to choose between warm white, cool white or dimmable LED options depending on the application. The aluminium construction and IP20 rating make the fitting suitable for dry indoor environments.

The matt black finish reduces glare under daylight and pairs with both industrial and contemporary interiors. The compact 60mm head diameter and 120mm projection from the ceiling suit rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights without the heads feeling intrusive. The rail measures 344mm end-to-end, covering approximately the width of a single kitchen worktop section or a medium-sized framed artwork when both heads are angled outward.

What bulbs does it take?

The Focus S takes two GU10 bulbs up to 10W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10s between 5-7W and 2700K-3000K for accent lighting.

Can the heads be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Both spotlight heads rotate and tilt on ball joints, allowing you to redirect the beam after the bar is fixed to the ceiling. This makes it useful for highlighting different objects or adjusting light direction as furniture is moved.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you install. If you fit dimmable GU10 LEDs and wire the fitting to a compatible dimmer switch, the lights will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor environments only. It is not rated for bathroom zones where moisture or direct water contact is possible.
