Description
The Focus S is a 2-light bar spotlight with two adjustable GU10 heads mounted on a 344mm white aluminium track. Each spotlight head rotates and tilts independently on its mounting point, allowing you to direct both beams at different targets or overlap them for concentrated task lighting.
Designed for kitchens, home offices and utility rooms where focused lighting is needed without a multi-track system, the Focus S fits a standard ceiling rose or junction box. The 344mm length suits positioning above a small desk, a kitchen worktop section, or alongside a bathroom mirror where two directed beams provide shadow-free task light. The compact 60mm width keeps the fitting close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights down to 2.2m.
The white powder-coated aluminium finish provides a clean, neutral accent that pairs with white ceilings and light-toned interiors without creating visual contrast. Each GU10 socket accepts bulbs up to 10W (sold separately), giving you control over colour temperature and beam angle depending on the task. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only.
The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 0.4kg, reducing the load on plasterboard ceilings when installed with appropriate fixings. The twin-head configuration provides more flexibility than a single spotlight while avoiding the complexity of multi-head track systems where four or six lights would be excessive for the space.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Focus S takes two GU10 bulbs up to 10W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10s between 5-7W and 2700K-3000K for task lighting, or 4000K for office and workshop applications.
Can the spotlight heads be adjusted after installation?
Yes. Each GU10 head rotates and tilts independently on its mount, allowing you to redirect the beam at any time without tools. This makes it practical for repositioning light as furniture or task areas change.
What ceiling fixing is needed?
The fitting connects to a standard ceiling rose or junction box. On plasterboard ceilings, use appropriate cavity fixings rated for the fitting's weight. The aluminium construction keeps the total weight low at approximately 0.4kg.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
The IP20 rating limits the Focus S to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be installed in bathroom zones where moisture or direct water contact is present. For bathrooms, look for IP44-rated or higher alternatives.
