The Focus LED Track Light Lens is a 43mm diameter transparent plastic optic designed for Maytoni's Focus track lighting system, delivering a 50° beam angle for wide ambient coverage. The lens measures 19mm in height and snaps into compatible Focus track light heads, replacing the standard lens to widen the light distribution from a narrow spot to a broader wash.

Designed for spaces where even ambient illumination is needed across large areas, the 50° beam suits open-plan offices, galleries with wall-to-wall displays, and retail environments where shadow-free coverage is required. The wider beam angle reduces the number of fittings needed to light a given floor area compared to narrower 24° or 36° lenses, making it a practical choice for budget-conscious installations where ambient rather than accent lighting is the priority.

The transparent plastic construction provides high light transmission with minimal colour shift, allowing the LED's native colour temperature to pass through without distortion. The lens is a consumable replacement part within the Focus system, meaning it can be swapped without replacing the entire track head when a different beam angle is needed or if the lens becomes scratched or discoloured over time. Is this lens compatible with all Maytoni track lights?

No. The 43mm diameter is specific to the Focus LED track light series. It will not fit other Maytoni track systems or third-party track heads. Check your existing track head's lens diameter before ordering.

What beam angle do I need?

A 50° beam provides wide ambient coverage suitable for general room lighting, reducing shadows and providing even illumination across large open areas. Narrower beams (24°, 36°) are better for accent lighting or highlighting specific objects or displays.

Can the lens be cleaned?

Yes. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Do not use household glass cleaners or chemical sprays, as they may cloud the plastic over time.

How is the lens replaced?

The lens snaps into the front of the Focus track head. Removal and installation methods vary by track head model — refer to the product manual linked in the Downloads tab for specific instructions for your track light.
