Description

This 35mm diameter transparent lens converts Focus LED track spotlights from a narrow spot beam to a 36° flood beam, spreading light across a wider area. The lens clips directly onto compatible Focus LED track light heads, replacing the standard optic without tools or re-wiring.

Designed for retail display lighting, gallery walls, and commercial spaces where adjustable coverage is needed, the 36° beam suits highlighting larger objects, washing vertical surfaces, or providing general ambient light from track-mounted fixtures. The lens works with any Focus LED track head that accepts the 35mm accessory mount.

The transparent plastic construction is impact-resistant and maintains light transmission without colour shift or yellowing over time. At 18mm height and 35mm diameter, the lens adds minimal projection to the track head once fitted. The 36° beam angle sits between standard spot (15-24°) and wide flood (60°+) optics, giving practical coverage for 2-4m wall sections from typical track mounting heights.

The lens fits any Maytoni Focus LED track light head that accepts the 35mm accessory mount. Check your track head specification or contact us to confirm compatibility before ordering.

How does the 36° beam compare to standard track light beams?

A 36° beam is classified as a medium flood. It's wider than standard spot beams (15-24°) but narrower than wide flood optics (60°+). From a 3m ceiling height, a 36° beam covers approximately 2m diameter at floor level.

Can the lens be removed and swapped?

Yes. The lens clips onto the track head and can be removed or swapped for a different beam angle without tools, allowing the same track head to be reconfigured for different lighting tasks.

Does the lens reduce light output?

The transparent plastic maintains high transmission with minimal loss. The beam angle change redistributes the light over a wider area, so perceived brightness at the centre of the beam will be lower than a narrow spot, but total lumen output from the track head remains the same.
