Description

The Focus LED honeycomb filter is a 53mm diameter aluminium accessory that fits over the front of compatible track lights and spotlights to reduce glare and tighten beam control. The honeycomb grid structure breaks up direct line-of-sight to the LED source, lowering brightness peaks and creating more comfortable task lighting without reducing overall output significantly.

Designed for office environments, retail spaces, galleries and anywhere anti-glare lighting matters, the filter clips or screws onto the front bezel of Maytoni Focus LED track heads and similar 53mm-aperture spotlights. The black aluminium construction absorbs stray reflections and sits flush with the fixture face, maintaining a clean profile. At 3mm thickness the filter adds minimal projection to the fitting.

The honeycomb cells are angled to permit light travelling straight ahead while blocking light at steep angles, narrowing the effective beam spread by approximately 10-15 degrees depending on the base optic. This makes the filter useful for reducing spill light onto walls or ceilings when fixtures are mounted close to vertical surfaces, or for preventing glare when a spotlight is positioned where viewers might look directly at it. The black finish pairs with black-bodied track systems and recessed downlights without visual contrast.
