Description

The Focus is a surface-mounted LED spotlight with a 12W integrated LED housed in a white aluminium cylinder that rotates and tilts from a ceiling-fixed base. The recessed LED sits behind a honeycomb mesh optic that controls beam spread, set to a 50° angle as standard and adjustable to 15°, 24° or 36° by swapping the included lens inserts.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, home offices and retail settings where directed accent lighting is needed without cutting into the ceiling, the Focus mounts directly onto plasterboard or solid ceilings using a surface backplate. The 160mm height and 52mm diameter give it a low-profile presence suitable for ceilings from 2.3m upwards. The swivel mechanism allows the beam to be aimed at worktops, wall art, shelving or architectural features, while the dimmable driver responds to most standard LED dimmers for brightness control.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish provides a neutral backdrop that works across modern, Scandi and industrial interiors without drawing attention to the fitting itself. The metal ring at the head conceals the LED module and gives a defined edge to the beam aperture. Yes. The spotlight ships with a 50° beam angle as standard, but includes additional lens inserts for 15°, 24° and 36° angles. The lens can be swapped by removing the front ring and replacing the optic. This allows tighter accent lighting when needed.

Yes. The integrated 12W LED driver is compatible with most standard LED dimmers. Dimmer compatibility varies by manufacturer, so testing with your specific dimmer model before final installation is recommended.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 160mm projection from the ceiling and 52mm diameter make it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fitting can still work if positioned away from head-height traffic areas.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means it is not protected against moisture ingress and must be installed in dry indoor locations only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher ratings depending on zone.
