Description

The Maytoni Focus is a 5W LED magnetic track spotlight with DALI dimming control and adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white. The cylindrical black aluminium head measures 4.5cm diameter by 19.2cm overall height, mounted on a 17cm magnetic track adapter that clips onto compatible 48V DC magnetic track systems without tools or fixed wiring.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and retail settings, the Focus suits gallery walls, kitchen worktops, retail display shelving and architectural feature lighting where repositioning is needed without re-wiring. The magnetic track adapter allows the spotlight to be moved along the track and rotated through 350 degrees on the horizontal plane plus tilted vertically, giving directional control over the 5W LED beam. DALI protocol enables dimming and colour temperature adjustment via compatible control systems, allowing the same fitting to shift from warm white for evening residential use to cool white for task lighting or retail display.

The black powder-coated aluminium body dissipates heat through radial fins visible on the track adapter, keeping the LED junction temperature within operating limits during continuous use. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments only. The 48V DC supply voltage runs through the magnetic track rail, with no mains voltage present at the fitting itself, simplifying installation safety. The Focus uses a magnetic adapter for 48V DC magnetic track systems. It will not fit standard 240V mains track or 3-circuit track lighting rails. Check your existing track voltage and confirm magnetic compatibility before ordering.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

Colour temperature adjustment from 2700K to 6000K requires a DALI-compatible control system connected to the magnetic track power supply. The spotlight cannot change colour temperature without DALI control infrastructure in place.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight has no moisture protection and is suitable for dry indoor environments only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or outdoor installations.

Can the spotlight be repositioned after installation?
