Description

The Focus is a 20W LED magnetic track spotlight with adjustable colour temperature from warm 2700K to cool daylight 6000K, housed in a white powder-coated aluminium cylinder. The spotlight clips magnetically onto compatible 48V DC track systems, allowing tool-free repositioning and rotation without rewiring. The integrated LED runs on 48V DC rather than mains voltage, making the track system safer to handle during adjustment.

Designed for kitchens, retail displays, workspaces and galleries where accent or task lighting needs to be repositioned regularly, the magnetic attachment means individual spotlights can be moved along the track, rotated 355° and tilted ±90° without tools or an electrician. The adjustable colour temperature is controlled via app or compatible voice assistant, allowing the light to shift from warm amber tones for evening ambient lighting to bright white for task work. Dimming is also app-controlled, giving 0-100% brightness adjustment.

The white aluminium body measures 193mm in length with a 65mm diameter spotlight head, giving a compact profile on the track while still housing a 20W LED output. The cylindrical head directs light in a focused beam rather than wide flood, making it suited to accent lighting on artwork, products or worktops rather than general room wash. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations.

The Focus spotlight requires a Maytoni Exility magnetic track system (sold separately) to function. The track itself carries the 48V DC power supply and provides the magnetic mounting surface. Once the track is ceiling- or wall-mounted and powered, individual spotlights clip on and draw power magnetically without visible wiring between fixtures.

Does this spotlight work on its own or does it need a track system?

The Focus spotlight requires a Maytoni Exility magnetic track system to function. The track carries the 48V DC power supply and provides the magnetic mounting surface. Individual spotlights then clip onto the track magnetically. Track systems are sold separately.

How is the colour temperature and dimming controlled?

Control is via smartphone app or compatible voice assistants (check compatibility with your system before purchase). The app allows you to adjust colour temperature anywhere between 2700K warm white and 6000K cool daylight, and to dim the light from 0-100%.

Can the spotlight be repositioned after installation?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows tool-free repositioning along the track, 355° rotation and ±90° tilt adjustment without rewiring. This makes it suited to spaces where lighting positions need to change regularly, such as retail displays or gallery walls.
