Description

The Focus is a 12W surface-mounted LED downlight with a 125mm tall cylindrical brass housing and a fixed 50° beam angle. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light and sits behind a prismatic diffuser at the base of the cylinder, which spreads the beam to provide ambient downlighting rather than a narrow spotlight effect.

Designed for rooms where recessed downlights cannot be fitted — such as flats with concrete ceilings, period properties with lath-and-plaster ceilings, or kitchens where ceiling voids are too shallow for can lights — the Focus mounts directly onto the ceiling surface using a standard back plate. The 52mm diameter footprint means it fits into tight ceiling grids without dominating the sightline. The brass finish catches light from adjacent fittings and provides a warm metallic accent in kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and dining rooms where decorative ceiling presence is wanted alongside the functional downlighting.

The cylindrical housing is spun from aluminium and finished in a mid-tone polished brass that sits between the yellow warmth of antique brass and the cooler neutrality of brushed brass. The 125mm height projects below the ceiling plane, so the fitting reads as a deliberate decorative object rather than trying to disappear. The AC 165-265V wide-voltage compatibility allows the downlight to operate on UK mains and international voltages without modification. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only.
