Description

The Fluxia-1 is a 140mm diameter ribbed glass pendant light with a green tinted glass shade and a brushed brass canopy. The shade is moulded with vertical fluting that runs from the brass collar down to the rounded base, creating a ribbed surface that refracts and diffuses light through the coloured glass. An E27 bulb sits inside the shade, visible through the glass when lit.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the Fluxia-1 works individually over a small table or in a row of two or three over a longer worktop. The 2000mm cable allows the pendant to be shortened during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, typically positioning the shade 600-800mm above the table surface. The green glass casts a cool-toned wash when lit with warm-white bulbs, adding colour contrast to neutral or wood-toned interiors.

The ribbed glass construction gives the shade depth and visual texture under both daylight and artificial light. The vertical fluting catches light at different angles, creating shadow lines that change as you move around the fitting. The brushed brass canopy softens the metallic tone and pairs with both brass and mixed-metal hardware in the same room. At 235mm tall and 140mm wide, the Fluxia-1 is compact enough for lower ceilings while providing sufficient presence over a 900-1200mm table width.

Is the Fluxia-1 dimmable?

Yes. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you fit. Use a dimmable E27 LED bulb paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch for reliable dimming performance. Incandescent and halogen E27 bulbs will also dim on standard trailing-edge dimmers.

What bulb does it take?

The Fluxia-1 takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-8W warm-white LED bulb between 2700K-3000K to complement the green glass tone.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Fluxia-1 is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor use.

How many should I use over a kitchen island?

For a 1200-1500mm island, two Fluxia-1 pendants spaced 600-700mm apart work well. For longer islands of 1800-2400mm, three pendants spaced evenly provide balanced coverage.
