Description

This is an unlit corner connector for the Flux range: an L-shaped section in white that joins two of the range's suspended linear lights at a right angle, so a run of light can turn a corner instead of stopping. It measures 138mm long, 138mm wide and 94.2mm high, and weighs 0.3KG. The box holds the corner piece alone; the linear lights it joins are sold separately, and it gives no light of its own. It is rated IP20, which settles the question of place: dry indoor rooms only.

Because the corner is blind, the light stops at the turn and starts again in the next linear light, which keeps the angle crisp. That suits a suspended run following the line of a bank of office desks, a meeting table, a reception counter or the edge of a room, where one straight bar would leave a side in shadow. We find it the simplest way to draw an L or a full rectangle of light over a working area. The maker supplies it as an optional part, one for each corner connection, so your plan needs one at every corner.

The body is finished in a clean white, with silver joining ends that meet the linear lights on either side and a red connector block on each arm. It needs no power supply of its own and holds no light source, so there is no lamp to buy for it and nothing in it to replace. At 0.3KG it adds very little to a suspended run.
