Description

The Flux Corner is a 90-degree LED track connector with an integrated 3000K LED light source built into a black metal and polycarbonate housing. It joins two lengths of track lighting at a right angle while providing continuous illumination around the corner, eliminating dark spots at the junction point where standard non-illuminated connectors would leave a gap in light coverage.

Designed for commercial retail, hospitality corridors and residential track lighting installations where the track run changes direction, the Flux Corner sits flush with the track rails on both sides of the 90-degree turn. The integrated LED maintains consistent light output with the rest of the track system, providing 3000K warm white light that bridges the corner without needing an additional spotlight at that position. The connector is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and transformer.

The black metal housing sits 20mm proud of the ceiling or mounting surface, matching the profile of most recessed and surface-mounted track systems. The 140mm arm length on each side of the corner provides structural support for the track rails while housing the LED driver and light source. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments, but the metal construction handles typical commercial temperature ranges and daily switching cycles.

Does the corner connector provide light or just join the tracks?

The Flux Corner contains an integrated LED that provides continuous 3000K light around the corner junction. This means there is no dark spot at the turn where the two track sections meet, unlike passive corner connectors that only provide a mechanical join.

What track systems is it compatible with?

The Flux Corner is designed to work with Ideal Lux's own track lighting systems. Track lighting components are not universally compatible between manufacturers, so verify compatibility with your existing track before ordering. Contact us if you need to confirm fit with a specific track model.

Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating means the connector is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It is not rated for bathroom zones or areas where it may be exposed to steam, moisture or splashing. For kitchens, keep it away from hobs and sinks.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the connector housing and is not user-replaceable. The unit carries a 5-year warranty covering LED failure under normal use.
