Description
Our Fluted Bow Tie 3D wall panels bring crisp, architectural texture to a plain wall. Narrow vertical ribs run across the whole of each white panel, which is laid out in two rows of four tall cells. In two cells of each row sits a smooth bow-tie shaped inset, folded down its vertical centre line, with V-shaped notches at the top and bottom where the ribs show through. The insets swap places between the rows in a checkerboard, four to a panel. Each panel is a 50cm square with a relief 36mm deep, which casts strong shadows when light falls across it from the side.
These panels suit interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Use them for a feature wall behind a bed or sofa, along a hallway, in a reception area or behind a shop counter. The ribs give a fine vertical line that draws the eye upward, while the folded insets catch light on one side and fall into soft shadow on the other. Beside a window the bow ties stand out sharply, while under even overhead light the effect is quieter and the ribs read as a gentle texture. The pattern sits easily in a neutral scheme and alongside bolder furnishings.
Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet, which is waterproof. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back of the panel and press it onto the wall, cut panels to fit at edges and corners, then fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many your wall needs. Once up, the panels are low maintenance and wipe clean with a damp cloth. For the neatest finish, plan the layout from the centre of the wall so the cut panels at each side match.

Frequently Asked
What does the Fluted Bow Tie pattern look like?
Fine vertical ribs run across the whole panel. Four smooth bow-tie insets, each folded down its centre, sit in a checkerboard across two rows of tall cells.
How big is each panel and how many cover a square metre?
Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square, and four of them cover one square metre, which helps when working out how many your wall needs.
How are the panels fixed to the wall?
You spread adhesive on the back of each panel and press it onto the wall, then fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean. No special equipment is needed.
Do I need to buy anything else to fit them?
Yes. You will need adhesive to fix the panels to the wall and filler to finish the joins, because neither comes with the panels.
Can the panels be cut to fit?
Yes, the panels can be cut to fit around edges and corners, so a wall can be finished neatly where full panels will not reach.
How do I clean the panels?
The panels are low maintenance. Simply wipe them clean with a damp cloth whenever dust or marks settle along the ribs and insets.
