Description

The Flur is a 500mm-diameter three-light chandelier built from sculpted black iron arms with black silk string shades and cascading glass droplets. Three E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the shades, with the light filtering through the string weave to create textured shadow and focused downlight. The glass droplets hang from metal leaves along each arm, adding movement and light catch without overpowering the frame.

Designed for dining rooms and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Flur works above round or square dining tables seating four to six. The adjustable drop ranges from 680mm to 1780mm, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-800mm above a table surface or higher as a centrepiece in double-height spaces. The black finish on the iron frame and silk shades creates strong contrast against white or light-coloured ceilings.

Each arm curves outward from a central stem before sweeping upward to hold the shade and droplets, giving the chandelier a structured profile that reads clearly from below. The silk string shades are approximately 120mm in diameter and taper slightly, directing light downward while allowing some lateral glow. The 4.6kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or reinforced rose. The black iron pairs with both traditional and contemporary interiors, particularly those with dark wood, charcoal upholstery or monochrome schemes.
