Description

The Flow is an 8-light chandelier built from resin moulded to resemble interlocking antlers and branches, finished in a dark brown tone that replicates aged horn and weathered wood. Eight candle-style E14 bulb fittings sit on metal sleeves inserted into the resin arms, with the bulbs positioned at varying heights across the 910mm diameter spread. The fitting suspends on a dark brown chain from a matching ceiling rose.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Flow works in both traditional country-house interiors and contemporary spaces using natural materials and warm neutrals. The dimmable rating allows the light output to be controlled via a compatible wall dimmer, making it suitable for ambient evening lighting or brighter functional use during daytime. The 910mm diameter suits rooms of 4-5m width without overwhelming the space.

The resin construction keeps the weight manageable for standard ceiling fixings while giving the appearance of carved horn. Each arm shows moulded texture detail to mimic the grain and ridges found in natural antler. The dark brown finish has subtle tonal variation across the surface, avoiding the flat uniformity of painted metal alternatives. The 500mm drop from ceiling rose to the base of the fitting allows adjustment during installation by shortening the chain length.

Frequently Asked

What bulbs does the Flow take?

The chandelier takes eight E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-style LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to suit the traditional aesthetic. Maximum recommended wattage per bulb is typically 40W for halogen or 6W LED equivalent.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. The resin and metal construction does not interfere with dimmer operation. Check that your chosen bulbs are marked as dimmable before purchasing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 500mm drop from ceiling rose to the base of the fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. For dining tables, allow at least 700-900mm clearance between the table surface and the bottom of the chandelier. The chain can be shortened during installation to reduce the overall drop if needed.

How is the resin finish maintained?

Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the resin or using chemical sprays. The dark brown finish is UV-stable for indoor use and should not fade under normal interior lighting conditions.
