Description

The Florida is a 2 light table lamp built around a floral-inspired frame in brown/black oxide finish, with two curved metal stems rising from a circular base to support fluted amber frosted glass shades. Each shade houses an E14 bulb (sold separately), and the frosted amber glass diffuses the light into a warm glow rather than directing it as task lighting.

Designed for bedside tables, side tables in living rooms, and console surfaces in hallways, the Florida sits 380mm tall with a 350mm footprint and works best where ambient mood lighting is needed rather than direct reading light. The curved stems give the lamp a sculptural presence when unlit, functioning as much as a decorative object as a light source. The brown/black oxide finish on the metalwork provides a dark bronze tone that pairs with warm-toned wood furniture, traditional brass fixtures, and both neutral and earth-toned textiles.

The fluted glass shades are hand-blown, so slight variation in the amber tone and the depth of fluting between individual pieces is normal. The 2.6kg weight gives the lamp stability on most surfaces without needing to be secured. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs fitted, pair with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch to control light intensity.
