Description

Florent is a printed rug in the Sailcloth colourway, covered edge to edge in a romantic floral design. Full white blooms with warm rust brown centres open across a cream ground, linked by trailing green stems and generous sprays of soft blue leaves, so the whole rug reads like a garden in full flower. Digital printing on 100% polyester gives the petals and leaves a fine, painterly detail, with a slim neutral edge finishing the outline.

The cream and blue palette sits happily in a living room, where the larger sizes give a sofa a soft floral base, and it works just as well beside or under a bed. We sell Florent in five sizes: 76 by 150cm, 120 by 170cm, 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm, plus a 61 by 230cm runner that suits a hallway or the long stretch beside a bed. The 76 by 150cm size sits neatly at a bedside or in front of a fireplace, while the 185 by 290cm rug is generous enough to anchor a full seating area.

Because the rug is washable, everyday spills and muddy footprints need not rule out a pale floral design, which makes Florent a practical choice for a busy household or a well used hallway. Before you choose, measure the floor space and pick the size that leaves a border of floor showing around the rug while letting the front feet of your sofa or chairs rest on it.
