Description

The Florence Round is a 1.67m floor lamp built around a polished chrome stem that supports a circular crystal ring positioned just beneath a 380mm black fabric drum shade. A single E27 bulb inside the shade (sold separately) casts light through the fabric and down through the crystal ring, creating both diffused ambient light and downward sparkle where the crystals catch and refract the beam.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls where vertical height allows, the Florence works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 380mm shade diameter and 1.67m overall height suit rooms with ceilings of 2.4m or above, positioned next to a sofa, in a reading corner, or flanking a fireplace. The polished chrome base provides stability at 19kg total weight, eliminating the need for additional floor anchoring on carpet or hard floors.

The circular crystal ring sits approximately 1.2m from the floor, placing the decorative element at eye level when standing and slightly above eye level when seated. Each crystal is individually faceted to maximise light refraction, with the effect most visible in evening use when the surrounding room is darker. The black shade absorbs upward light throw, concentrating output downward and outward through the fabric weave and the crystal tier below.

The lamp accepts any E27 bulb up to 100W and is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. Most users fit a warm-white LED between 8-15W and 2700K-3000K to balance the chrome and black tones with warmer light output.
