Description

The Florence is a 1670mm floor lamp built around an antique brass stem supporting a rectangular crystal frame, topped with a cream fabric shade. The crystal rectangle sits midway up the stem, acting as both structural accent and decorative element, catching and refracting light from the E27 bulb above. The cream shade diffuses light into a warm ambient glow rather than a focused beam.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls where ambient lighting is needed without ceiling fittings, the Florence suits traditional and transitional interiors with warm-toned colour schemes. The 1670mm height places the shade at approximately eye level when standing, allowing the lamp to function as reading light beside an armchair or as fill light in a corner. The rectangular base footprint of 210mm x 400mm gives stability on rugs and bare floors without requiring additional weighting.

The antique brass finish shows a warmer, slightly aged tone compared to polished brass, reducing reflections and pairing comfortably with wood furniture, warm greys and cream walls. What bulb does the Florence take?

The lamp uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 100W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for ambient living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not include a built-in dimmer control. Both the bulb and the wall dimmer must be compatible with each other for smooth dimming.

How is the cream shade cleaned?

The fabric shade can be dusted with a soft brush or lint roller. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the shade.

Can the crystal rectangle be removed?

The crystal rectangle is a structural part of the lamp assembly and is not designed to be removed. It sits securely on the antique brass stem and supports the upper section of the frame.
