Description

Floreana is a printed rug that brings a whole tropical garden to the floor. Tall palms, fan leaves, ferns and flowering plants rise in layers from a soft green base to a cream sky, drawn in teal, blue and leafy greens with touches of coral pink and warm ochre. The Bleached Coral colourway keeps those flowers gentle rather than bright, so the scene reads as calm and airy. The design is digitally printed onto 100% polyester, which lets the fine detail of every leaf and petal come through clearly.

Its colours sit happily in a living room, where the greens pick up houseplants and soft furnishings and the cream ground keeps the space light. We sell it in five sizes. The 76 by 150cm rug suits a bedside or a reading corner, while the 61 by 230cm runner fits a hallway or landing. The 120 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sizes sit in front of a sofa or under a coffee table, and the 185 by 290cm rug is large enough to sit under a bed or anchor a seating area.

Practical matters are simple. The rug is washable, so spills and everyday marks need not rule out a busy living room or a well used hallway. With all its colour in one printed scene, it gives a plain floor and simple furniture plenty to work with. Before you choose a size, measure the space and allow a border of bare floor around the edge, so the whole garden has room to breathe.
