The Flirmane is a slim LED outdoor wall light in black, built from cast aluminium. It measures 20cm long and 5cm high, and it stands 14cm out from the wall, so it sits neatly beside a door without crowding the space. A rectangular open frame fixes to the wall and holds a cylindrical head, with a panel of integrated LEDs behind a clear cover. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall and shrug off the rain.

We would put it beside a front or back door, along a side passage, above a short run of steps or on a garden wall. The head turns within its frame, so you can aim the light up the wall to wash it softly, down towards a path, or straight out across a patio. That flexibility suits a modern house where one fitting has to do more than one job. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm light that flatters brickwork, planting and faces far more than a cold bluish tone, and 550lm is a practical level of light for a doorway or a flight of steps.

It draws just 4.8W, carries an Energy Class E rating and runs from the mains at 220-240V, 50/60Hz. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so it works from a wall switch like any other fitting. It is not dimmable, and the LEDs are integrated and not replaceable, so there are no bulbs to buy or change.
