Description

The Flimarne is a black LED pendant light built from three interlinked oval loops: one long sweeping ring with two smaller rings curled inside it, hung on four fine wires from a round ceiling canopy. The frame is aluminium and steel in black. A white plastic diffuser runs along the underside of each loop, so the light falls downwards in a soft, even line. It measures 100cm long and 36cm wide, with an overall height of 120cm. The light source is integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy. It draws 38W and gives 4,400lm at 3000K, a warm light. It is rated IP20, which makes it a light for indoor living spaces.

Its long, open shape is made for a dining table, where the loops follow the length of the top and spread light from one end to the other. It also suits a living room, a hallway with good ceiling height or an open-plan space that needs a centrepiece over a seating area. With 4,400lm on tap, one pendant gives a room real working light for meals, homework and evenings with friends. The warm 3000K tone keeps it relaxed rather than clinical. The fine wires keep the view across the room clear, so it reads as a drawing in the air rather than a heavy fitting.

The light dims in three steps, so you can move from full brightness for dinner to a softer level later in the evening. It has no switch of its own and is switched at the wall. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, carries energy class E and weighs 2.235KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
