Description

The Flenvenne is a wall-mounted LED flood light with a black aluminium body and a broad, rectangular white plastic diffuser with softly rounded corners, held on an adjustable black bracket. It measures 24.5cm long, 17.6cm wide and 22.4cm high and weighs 1.08KG. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to source or change, and they give out 6,100lm of light. Its IP65 rating means it is protected against dust and jets of water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall through every kind of British weather.

We see it above a garage door, along a driveway, over a back door or lighting a side passage, anywhere you want a broad wash of light across the ground rather than a small glow. With 6,100lm behind that wide diffuser, it lights up a parking space, a path to the bins or a patio clearly, which makes coming home after dark and finding keys a good deal easier. The adjustable bracket lets you angle the head where the light is needed, so it works high under the eaves as well as lower on a wall. The black body sits quietly against render, brick or dark cladding by day.

The light covers three colour temperatures, 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, so it ranges from a warm white that suits a garden wall to a crisp, cool white for a working driveway. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power and carries an energy class of D. The body is aluminium, and aluminium does not rust, which matters on a fitting that stays out all year; the diffuser is white plastic.
