Description

The Flavia is a 73cm diameter telescopic chandelier with six radiating arms, each terminating in a dual-layer glass shade combining frosted and clear glass. The arms extend from a central black chrome hub on a telescopic rod, allowing the drop to be adjusted from 530mm to 780mm during installation. Each arm holds a G9 fitting, with bulbs sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, the Flavia can be installed as a semi-flush fitting (minimum 530mm drop) in lower-ceiling rooms or extended to full chandelier drop (780mm) where ceiling height allows. The six-arm radial symmetry distributes light evenly across a 3-4m diameter floor area, making it suitable for positioning above a dining table or central to a seating arrangement. The telescopic rod fits standard UK ceiling roses and the black chrome canopy conceals the cable run.

The black chrome finish is a reflective gunmetal tone that sits darker than polished chrome but lighter than matt black, giving the metal frame definition under both daylight and artificial light. Each glass shade has an outer frosted layer that diffuses the G9 bulb light and an inner clear layer that allows some directional throw downward. The combined weight of 2.9kg requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or through-bolted ceiling rose on plasterboard ceilings. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
