Description

The Flavia is a 2 light wall fitting with two curved black chrome arms rising from a rectangular black chrome backplate, each arm terminating in a frosted glass shade with a clear rim. The wall light includes an integrated rocker switch on the backplate, allowing the fitting to be controlled without relying on a separate wall switch circuit. Each shade houses a G9 bulb (sold separately).

Designed for bedrooms where bedside switching is needed without running additional wiring, hallways requiring local control, and living room accent positions where a wall switch is impractical or too far away. The 420mm height and 130mm projection suit walls with clearance above furniture or where the fitting needs to sit proud of the wall without dominating the space. The dual arms provide more light output than a single-bulb wall light while maintaining a compact 210mm width.

The black chrome finish is a darker, gunmetal-toned variant of standard polished chrome, giving a moodier, more saturated metallic appearance that reads almost anthracite under certain lighting conditions. The frosted glass diffuses the G9 bulb output to reduce glare, while the clear glass rim adds a defined edge where the shade meets the chrome. The Flavia takes two G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 bulbs are available in LED (2-5W), halogen (28-40W), and older incandescent formats. Most users pair this fitting with warm white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for bedroom and hallway use.

Is the integrated switch dimmable?

The rocker switch on the backplate is a standard on/off switch. Dimming requires dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer installed on the mains circuit feeding the wall light. The integrated switch itself does not provide dimming control.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 130mm from the wall surface to the front of the glass shades. This allows clearance above a bedside table or console without the shades sitting too far into the room.

What is black chrome compared to polished chrome?
