Description
The Flara is a 75cm linear LED wall light built from white powder-coated metal with an integrated 30W LED running at 3000K. The fitting sits 80mm proud of the wall and casts light in both upward and downward directions through a diffuser panel that runs the length of the 750mm body, creating a band of warm white light across the wall surface.
Designed for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and corridors where horizontal wall wash is needed, the Flara provides ambient lighting without requiring separate bulbs or future lamp changes. The 80mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrower passages and rooms where projecting wall lights would reduce walkable width. The white finish integrates cleanly with neutral and light-toned interiors, and the 750mm length suits wall runs of 1-2m where a single fitting can provide coverage without appearing undersized.
The metal body dissipates heat from the LED array without needing external cooling fins, keeping the profile simple and flat. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for IP20 environments only, so the Flara is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use or zones requiring moisture protection. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, making it comfortable for extended evening use in residential spaces.
Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty on the Flara, covering the integrated LED and control gear. The fitting requires mains voltage connection and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Frequently Asked
Is the Flara dimmable?
No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and will not function correctly with dimmer switches. It should be wired to a standard on/off switch only.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The Flara carries an IP20 rating, meaning it provides no protection against moisture. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use or any zone requiring IP44 or higher.
Does the light shine up and down the wall?
Yes. The diffuser panel runs the full 750mm length of the fitting and emits light in both upward and downward directions, creating a vertical band of wall wash across the surface behind the fitting.
What length wall does the 75cm size suit?
The 750mm length works well on wall runs of 1-2m, such as above a sofa, beside a bed, or along a hallway section. For longer walls or larger rooms, multiple Flara fittings can be spaced evenly to provide consistent coverage.
