Description

The Mantra Flame is a 550mm outdoor table lamp moulded from high-grade polyethylene into a curved flame-shaped silhouette, finished in opal white. The single E27 bulb fitting (sold separately) sits inside the hollow form, casting diffused light through the translucent white material. The lamp carries an IP65 rating, making it weatherproof for outdoor use on patios, terraces and garden tables exposed to rain and dust.

Designed for both outdoor and indoor placement, the Flame suits terrace dining tables, poolside lounging areas, covered patios and large interior console tables where sculptural accent lighting is wanted. The 550mm height provides presence on a table without blocking sightlines across a dining surface. The epoxy-coated metal base gives stability on outdoor furniture and adds weight to prevent tipping in moderate winds. Power is supplied via a mains cable, so placement requires proximity to an outdoor socket or extension lead rated for outdoor use.

The opal white polyethylene diffuses the bulb's light evenly across the entire form, turning the lamp itself into the light source rather than projecting a beam. This creates ambient rather than task lighting, suitable for evening outdoor entertaining where mood matters more than working light. The polyethylene construction resists UV degradation, impact damage and temperature swings between summer heat and winter cold. At 1.1kg the lamp is light enough to be repositioned between outdoor zones but heavy enough to remain stable on a table.

Bulb choice controls light temperature and output. A warm-white LED E27 bulb at 2700K-3000K and 6-9W suits outdoor evening use, while a brighter daylight bulb at 4000K-5000K provides crisper light for reading outdoors.
