Description

Fiore is a modern rug in our Rose Teal colourway, a soft field of teal and turquoise scattered with clusters of blooms in rose pink, raspberry and deep red, set among sprays of green leaves and flecks of cream. The design is loose and painterly, as if laid down in quick brushstrokes, so the flowers blur gently into the background rather than sitting in a tight repeat. It is made from 100% polyester with the design digitally printed across it, and a slim dark green binding finishes the edge.

Its blend of teal and rose sits happily in a living room or dining room, bringing colour to wooden floors and pale walls. The 120 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sizes are good under a dining table with chairs, or in front of a sofa where the front feet rest on it. The largest, 185 by 290cm, gives room for a whole seating area or the space around a bed. For a hallway or landing there is a 61 by 230cm runner, and the 76 by 150cm size works beside a bed, by a desk or in a smaller room.

Care is simple: the rug is washable, which settles the question for a dining room where spills are part of family meals, or a hallway that sees muddy shoes. Choose the size by measuring the space first, leaving a band of bare floor around the edges, and for a table allow enough rug for the chairs to stay on it when pulled out.
