Description

A compact spotlight head for three circuit track, with the LED and its driver built into the body. The light comes out warm at 3000K, and the narrow beam holds it as a defined pool rather than a general wash across the room. At 40W it is the strongest head in the Fiji range, so it has the punch to reach down from a high ceiling or across a long run of track without going soft at the edges.

We would put it where the ceiling is high or the target sits well away from the fitting: a hall with real height, a kitchen island under a vaulted roof, a run of pictures up a stairwell. It suits anyone who wants light aimed rather than spread, and since it lives on track, the head can be slid along the run and re-aimed when the furniture moves. The output is fixed, so plan it on a plain switch and let the number of heads on the track set the level in the room.

The body is white front to back, which keeps it quiet against a white ceiling and lets the beam do the talking. It is double insulated, and the driver is included, so the head arrives complete and ready to clip onto its track. Upkeep is light work: turn the circuit off, let the fitting go cold, then wipe the housing and the face with a dry cloth, since dust on the face shows quickly on a beam this tight. It carries a five year warranty. We stock this head in black as well as white, in a cooler white light for kitchens and workshops, and in lower output versions for shorter runs and ordinary ceiling heights, so a whole track can be built from the same family.
