Description
This is a compact cylinder head that clips onto three-circuit track, finished in plain white so it reads quietly against a pale ceiling. The integrated LED draws 30W and throws a tight, controlled beam rather than a broad wash, which is what makes it useful for picking out one thing at a time. The light is warm white, on the softer side of neutral, and the driver sits inside the fitting. It is not a dimming head, so it comes on at full output and stays there.
We reach for a head like this in kitchens with an island to light, in hallways and galleries where pictures need hitting, and in shops and studios where the layout shifts and the lighting has to shift with it. Because the track carries separate switched lines, several heads can share a single run and still be grouped, so display light and working light need not come on together. The narrow beam earns its keep on taller ceilings, where a wider head would only spill onto the walls.
Body and adaptor are white throughout, and the head measures 80mm across, small enough that a row of them looks orderly rather than busy on an exposed track. To keep the finish crisp, run a soft dry cloth over the housing now and then, and let the head go cold before you touch the lens. This is an indoor fitting for dry rooms, wired for a domestic mains supply. It carries a five year warranty. We stock the Fiji heads in black as well as white, in lower outputs, in a cooler white, and in single-circuit versions for runs where one switched line is enough, so a whole scheme can be built from the same shape.

Frequently Asked
How much light does it give out?
It produces around 3000 lumens at 3000K, a warm white tone. That is a lot of light from a small head, which is why it works best where you want a defined pool rather than general brightness.
Do I need to buy a lamp for it?
No. The LED and its driver are built in, rated at 30W, with an average life of 50,000 hours.
Will it work on my existing track?
It takes a three-circuit track adaptor. If your track is single-circuit, choose one of the single-circuit Fiji heads instead.
How wide is the beam?
It is a 38 degree beam, so fairly narrow and good for accenting artwork, worktops and shelving.
Can I put it on a dimmer?
No, this version is non-dimmable. Wiring it to a dimmer switch can shorten the life of the LED driver.
What are the overall dimensions?
The head is 80mm in diameter, 145mm wide and 155mm tall including the adaptor, and it weighs 0.8kg.
