Description

A compact track spot for three circuit systems, finished in white, with its LED and driver built in and rated at 15W. The head is 65mm across, small enough to sit quietly on the track while still throwing a proper working beam. The light is warm white and tightly focused, so it lands on what you aim it at rather than spilling across the ceiling. It is not a dimming fitting.

We reach for this where a room needs light on particular things: a run of shelves, a stretch of worktop, pictures along a hallway. The narrow beam does that better than a broad flood, and since several heads can share the same track you can aim each one where it is wanted and move them again later. It suits kitchens, home offices, studios and hallways, and works just as well in shops and salons where stock and surfaces need picking out. The warm tone keeps timber, paint and skin looking friendly rather than clinical.

The housing is white right through, a neat shape that reads quietly against a pale ceiling. The LED and its control gear are sealed in as one unit, so there is no lamp to buy and none to change. It is double insulated, and belongs indoors where the air stays dry; keep it clear of bathrooms and covered porches. For cleaning, switch off at the wall, allow the head to cool, then wipe the housing with a dry microfibre cloth and keep sprays away from the lens. It carries a five year warranty.
