Description

The Felix is a 26cm LED picture light with an integrated 2.5W 3000K LED strip housed in a cylindrical silver body. The light mounts on a double-arched bracket that positions the illuminated bar 18cm out from the wall, directing warm white light downward onto the surface of a picture, print, or photograph hung below. The LED strip runs the full 26cm length of the bar, providing even coverage across small to medium frames.

Designed for artwork, photographs and prints hung in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and studies, the Felix suits frames up to 40-50cm wide depending on ceiling height and picture position. The 180mm projection from the wall allows the light to clear standard frame depths and directs illumination onto the artwork surface rather than the wall behind. The double-arched bracket adjusts on installation to angle the bar towards the frame, compensating for different hanging heights.

The silver finish is applied over a metal body and bracket, giving a neutral metallic tone that pairs with both warm and cool-toned interiors. The 2.5W integrated LED draws minimal power and provides a rated lifespan of approximately 30,000 hours, avoiding the need for bulb replacement. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and moisture.

The 26cm bar length works best with frames up to 40-50cm wide, depending on how high the frame is hung and where the picture light is positioned. Narrower frames receive more concentrated light, while wider frames may show slight drop-off at the edges.

Can the angle be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The arched bracket allows the bar to tilt on the mounting point, so you can adjust the angle to direct light onto the frame surface after the fitting is installed. This compensates for different picture heights and hanging positions.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the bar and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years at 8 hours per day.

Where can it be installed?

The IP20 rating limits the Felix to dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens with steam, or any location where moisture or splashing may occur.
