Description

The Felix is a 26cm brass picture light with an integrated 2.5W 3000K LED housed inside a cylindrical tube that pivots on an arched brass bracket. The arm projects 180mm from the wall, directing warm light downward onto the surface of the artwork or photograph mounted below. The arched bracket gives the fitting a gallery-style profile that sits comfortably above traditional frames, modern canvas prints and photographic enlargements up to 40-50cm wide.

Designed for living rooms, hallways, dining rooms and home offices where wall-mounted art needs dedicated illumination, the Felix works best on solid walls with access to mains wiring behind the mounting point. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only. The brass finish works in both traditional and contemporary interiors, pairing with warm wood tones, marble surfaces and neutral wall colours without competing visually with the artwork itself.

The 2.5W LED output is calibrated for accent rather than task lighting, so the Felix highlights the artwork without flooding the surrounding wall or creating glare on glazed frames. The fixed 3000K colour temperature falls in the warm white range, close to incandescent, which preserves the colour accuracy of paintings and prints without shifting them towards blue or yellow. At 260mm total length the fitting suits artworks between 30-50cm wide; larger pieces benefit from a longer picture light or multiple fittings.

What size artwork does the Felix suit?

At 260mm length the Felix works best on artworks between 30-50cm wide. The 180mm projection directs light downward from above the frame, so the fitting needs to be centred horizontally over the artwork for even coverage.

Is the Felix dimmable?

No. The integrated 2.5W LED runs at a fixed brightness on mains power and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can the light angle be adjusted?

Yes. The cylindrical LED tube pivots on the arched bracket, allowing the beam to be angled towards the artwork surface. Once positioned the tube holds its angle through friction in the pivot joint.

What's the IP rating?

IP20, which restricts use to dry indoor locations only. The Felix is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, conservatories or any location with moisture exposure.
