Description

The Fad is a 6-light LED chandelier built around six black metal arms that radiate from a central ceiling canopy, each terminating in a circular LED module behind a frosted acrylic diffuser. The integrated 40W LED array outputs warm 3000K light across the six heads, and each arm can rotate 340° horizontally and tilt 90° vertically on its mounting joint.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or more, the Fad allows the light to be repositioned after installation without rewiring. The horizontal spread of 89cm and width of 55cm suit rectangular dining tables in the 1.6-2.0m range, while the adjustable arms mean the light can be concentrated over a table centre or spread outward to wash adjacent walls. The matt black finish on the metal framework absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the emphasis stays on the six LED heads.

The acrylic diffusers soften the LED output and eliminate direct glare, making the chandelier suitable for positions where it hangs within the eyeline of seated or standing occupants. The fixed drop of 61.6cm from ceiling to the lowest point of the arms means the fitting projects further into the room than a flush or semi-flush fitting, so it works best in rooms with at least 2.5m ceiling height to maintain clearance above head height. The IP20 rating limits the Fad to dry indoor locations.

Frequently Asked

Is the Fad dimmable?

The integrated 40W LED runs on 220-240V AC mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with integrated LED fittings.

Can the arms be repositioned after installation?

Yes. Each arm rotates 340° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically on its mounting joint, allowing the light distribution to be adjusted without rewiring. The arms stay in position once set.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier has a fixed drop of 61.6cm from ceiling to the lowest point of the arms. For safe head clearance, ceiling heights of 2.5m or more are recommended, particularly if the fitting is positioned over a dining table or in a circulation area.

Does it come with bulbs?

The LED modules are integrated into the chandelier and are not user-replaceable bulbs. The 40W total output is split across the six heads, each providing approximately 6.7W of warm 3000K light.
