Description

Our Faceted Bow Tie 3D wall panels bring a crisp geometric pattern to a plain wall. Each white PVC panel is a 50 x 50cm square holding two full-width rectangles, one stacked over the other with a narrow band between them. In each rectangle, a wide triangle points down from the top edge and another points up from the bottom, while two side facets narrow to a short vertical ridge at the centre, so every rectangle forms a bow tie. The facets are flat and sharply edged, and the relief stands 35mm deep, deep enough to throw strong shadows in side light.

They are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. A run of panels across one wall makes a feature wall behind a bed, a sofa, a reception desk or a shop counter, where the repeating bow ties line up into horizontal bands. On the plain surface, the pattern is drawn by light alone: the lower triangles fall into shadow while the upper facets catch the brightness, and the effect shifts through the day as daylight moves or lamps come on. Flat, even light from the front gives a quieter, softer texture. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many a wall needs.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm sheet. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive across the back, press the panel onto the wall, and cut panels to fit around edges and corners. The joins are then filled with filler and wiped clean, so the wall reads as one surface. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. PVC is waterproof, and the panels are low maintenance, needing only a wipe with a damp cloth to keep them fresh. For styling, keep the furniture in front simple and let the bow ties carry the wall on their own.

Frequently Asked

What does the Faceted Bow Tie pattern look like?

Each panel holds two wide rectangles stacked with a narrow band between them. Each rectangle is faceted into a bow tie, with triangles pointing in from the top and bottom edges and two side facets narrowing to a short ridge at the centre.

How big is each panel and how much wall does it cover?

Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square, and four panels cover one square metre, so working out how many your wall needs starts with its area in square metres.

How are the panels fixed to the wall?

You spread adhesive over the back of each panel and press it onto the wall. Panels can be cut to fit, the joins are filled and wiped clean, and no special equipment is needed.

Do I need to buy anything else to fit them?

Yes, you will need to buy adhesive and filler separately. The adhesive holds each panel to the wall and the filler finishes the joins between panels.

Can I use these panels in an office or shop?

Yes, they are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops, and they work well as a feature wall behind a desk or counter.

How do I clean the panels?

PVC is waterproof and the panels are low maintenance, so a wipe with a damp cloth keeps the facets looking clean.
