Description

The Fable is a single-spotlight fitting in matt black powder-coated die-cast metal, housing a GU10 lamp holder inside an adjustable cylindrical head. The head rotates 350° on its base and tilts through approximately 90° from horizontal, allowing the light beam to be directed onto artwork, architectural features, or specific zones within a room. The spotlight mounts flush to ceilings or walls via a 60mm circular surface plate.

Designed for accent and task lighting in living rooms, kitchens, hallways and home offices, the Fable works as a single unit to highlight a picture or mirror, or in multiples spaced along a wall or ceiling run to create directional wash lighting. The compact 60mm diameter and 78mm projection suit rooms where ceiling height or wall space is limited. The GU10 fitting accepts LED, halogen or low-energy bulbs up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification (bulbs sold separately).

The matt black finish provides a low-reflectance surface that recedes visually when the spotlight is off, making the fitting less prominent than polished or metallic alternatives. The die-cast metal construction gives the head and base mechanical rigidity so the spotlight holds its adjusted position without drift. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — this spotlight is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installation.

The Fable is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 dimmable bulb and dimmer switch (dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb model chosen). The 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the fitting itself; bulbs are consumable items and are not covered.
