Description

The Exility track power feed is a 35cm lead connector that delivers 48V DC power from mains to Maytoni's Exility modular track lighting system. The feed features a black plastic housing with two metal contact points that clip into the track rail, establishing the electrical connection that powers spotlights, pendants and other Exility track-mounted fittings.

Designed for installation in residential, retail and office spaces using the Exility track system, the power feed typically mounts at one end of a track run or at a central point where mains wiring is accessible. The 35cm cable length allows routing from a ceiling rose or junction box to the track, with enough slack to position the feed without strain on the connection. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The black finish on the plastic housing matches the black variant of Exility track rail, maintaining a consistent colour across the entire track system when installed. The 48V DC supply is lower voltage than mains, requiring a compatible driver or transformer (sold separately) between the feed and the mains circuit. What else is needed to complete the track system?

The power feed requires a 48V DC driver or transformer (sold separately) to step down from 230V mains, plus Exility track rail and compatible track-mounted spotlights or pendants. The driver connects between your mains circuit and this power feed.

Can this be used with other track lighting brands?

No. The Exility power feed is designed specifically for Maytoni's Exility track system and uses a proprietary 48V DC connection. It will not fit or power tracks from other manufacturers.

Where does the power feed mount on the track?

The feed can clip into the track at any point along the rail, though it's typically positioned at one end or centrally where mains wiring is accessible. The 35cm cable allows routing from a ceiling rose or junction box to the track insertion point.

Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoor covered areas?

No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only. The Exility system is not rated for bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam, or any outdoor application.
