Description

The Exility flexible corner power connector is a 15cm cable link between two track sections, allowing track lighting systems to route around corners, across angles, or over obstacles without needing rigid straight-line runs. The connector carries DC 48V power from one track section to the next via a flexible black plastic-sheathed cable that can be bent to follow ceiling contours or architectural features.

Designed for Maytoni's Exility track system, the connector suits commercial retail spaces, gallery lighting, hospitality areas and residential rooms where track layouts need to follow non-standard ceiling shapes or where tracks run across beams, ceiling joins or alcove edges. The 26cm total length (including the connector housings at each end) provides enough flex to bridge a 90-degree corner or to offset tracks by 15-20cm horizontally while maintaining power continuity.

Each end of the connector houses the track engagement mechanism inside a black plastic housing that clips into the Exility track channel. The cable itself is rated IP20 for indoor use and carries the DC 48V power supply used by the Exility system. The black finish matches the Exility track and fittings, keeping the connector visually recessed against dark ceilings or blending into the track run when installed against lighter backgrounds.

Is this compatible with other track systems?

No. This connector is designed specifically for Maytoni's Exility track system and uses the proprietary DC 48V power rail and connector profile unique to that range. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' tracks.

What angles can the connector handle?

The 15cm flexible cable allows the connector to bridge 90-degree corners, gentle curves, or horizontal offsets of 15-20cm between parallel track runs. The flex has limits — very tight bends or loops should be avoided to prevent cable strain.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is suitable for indoor dry locations only. It is not protected against moisture ingress and should not be used in bathrooms, outdoor canopies, or other damp environments.

How is it installed?

Each end of the connector clips into the Exility track channel in the same way a track spotlight would. Power feeds through the connector automatically once both ends are engaged. The cable can be routed along the ceiling surface or left to drape slightly depending on the track layout.
