Description

The Exility internal corner connector is a white aluminium L-shaped component that creates 90° internal corners in Maytoni's Exility magnetic track lighting system. The connector measures 100mm x 100mm x 25.8mm and uses a magnetic coupling on each arm to join two lengths of Exility track at right angles where they meet in an internal corner of a room.

Designed for surface-mounted installations on ceilings or walls, the connector allows Exility track runs to follow the perimeter of rectangular rooms, turn into alcoves, or create U-shaped and rectangular lighting layouts without requiring flexible track. The magnetic connection on each arm holds the track securely while allowing the entire run to be assembled without tools or fixing screws at the joint itself. The aluminium construction matches the Exility track body and the white powder-coat finish integrates cleanly into white or light-toned ceiling surfaces.

Each connector arm includes the same internal electrical bus as the main track sections, maintaining continuous power through the corner turn for magnetic LED spotlights or pendants positioned anywhere along the joined track lengths. The 100mm arm length on each side gives enough overlap to accept a standard Exility track section and provides structural stability at the corner without creating a bulky junction box appearance.

Is this connector compatible with all Exility track sections?

Yes. The Exility internal corner connector works with all Maytoni Exility magnetic track sections in the white finish. The magnetic coupling on each arm accepts the standard Exility track profile and maintains electrical continuity through the corner.

Can lighting fixtures be positioned at the corner itself?

Magnetic spotlights and pendants can attach anywhere along the joined track run, including on the connector arms. However, positioning a fixture directly at the 90° bend may limit the fixture's rotation or tilt depending on the specific fitting design.

How is the connector installed?

The connector itself does not require separate fixing. Each Exility track section is surface-mounted to the ceiling or wall using the fixing points along its length. The corner connector simply clips magnetically between two track sections at the corner point, with power fed through one of the track runs.

What's the difference between internal and external corner connectors?

Internal corner connectors create 90° turns where track meets in the inside corner of a room (e.g., where two walls meet). External corner connectors are used where track needs to turn around the outside of a projection or column. This is an internal corner connector.
