Description

The Exility internal corner connector is a black aluminium L-shaped track component measuring 100mm x 100mm x 52mm, designed to form 90° internal corners in Maytoni's Exility magnetic track lighting system. The connector joins two perpendicular track sections using magnetic attachment, maintaining electrical continuity through the corner while allowing light fittings to traverse the junction.

Used in track lighting installations where the run needs to turn an internal corner — along two adjacent walls meeting at a right angle, around columns, or defining recessed ceiling zones. The magnetic connection allows the corner piece to be positioned and repositioned during installation without tools, then locked into alignment once the track run is finalised. The IP20 rating limits the connector to dry interior locations.

The black powder-coated aluminium construction matches the finish of Exility track sections and light fittings, maintaining a consistent visual line through the corner. The 52mm projection from the ceiling or wall surface is the same as the track itself, so the corner piece sits flush with the rest of the system. The magnetic mechanism inside the connector uses the same contact points as straight track joiners, meaning lights can roll through the corner junction without gaps in power.

Is this compatible with other track lighting systems?

No. This connector is designed specifically for Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system and uses proprietary magnetic contact points. It will not work with standard three-circuit track, Global track, or other manufacturers' magnetic systems.

Can light fittings move through the corner?

Yes. The magnetic contacts inside the connector maintain electrical continuity through the 90° turn, allowing Exility spotlights and pendants to be repositioned along the track run including through the corner junction itself.

What angle does it create?

This is an internal corner connector forming a 90° right angle where two track sections meet. For external corners (outward-facing 90° turns) a separate external corner connector is required.

How is it installed?

The connector attaches magnetically to the ends of two Exility track sections. Each track section must be fixed to the ceiling or wall independently, then the corner piece clips onto both ends to complete the electrical and mechanical connection. No tools are needed for the magnetic attachment itself.
