Description

The Exility corner connector joins two lengths of Maytoni magnetic track rail at a 90° angle, creating L-shaped or rectangular track layouts. Made from black powder-coated aluminium, the connector measures 100mm along each arm with a 52mm projection from the ceiling when surface-mounted, matching the profile of the Exility track system it connects.

Designed for ceiling layouts that run along two perpendicular walls or turn corners in kitchens, retail spaces and galleries, the connector maintains electrical continuity through the magnetic track, allowing spotlights and pendants to be positioned continuously around the corner without interruption. The connector works with both surface-mounted track fixed directly to the ceiling and suspended track hung on cables or rods.

The black aluminium construction matches the Exility track finish and carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry-location use. The connector includes fixing holes on both arms for secure attachment to ceiling joists or battens, and the magnetic channel runs through the internal corner joint to allow track heads to cross from one track section to the other without needing separate power feeds.

Does this maintain electrical continuity around the corner?

Yes. The magnetic channel runs through the internal corner joint, allowing power to flow from one track section to the other. Track-mounted spotlights and pendants can cross the corner without needing a separate power feed on each arm.

Can it be used with suspended track installations?

Yes. The connector works with both surface-mounted track fixed directly to the ceiling and suspended track hung on cables or rods. The 52mm height accommodates the standard Exility track profile in either configuration.

What fixing method is required?

The connector includes fixing holes on both arms for screws into ceiling joists, battens or plasterboard anchors. The manual (see Downloads tab) provides the fixing pattern and recommended screw gauge.

Can multiple connectors be used to create complex layouts?

Yes. You can use multiple corner connectors with straight track sections to build L-shapes, U-shapes, rectangular perimeters or more complex multi-corner layouts across a ceiling.
