Description

The Exility corner oval connector joins two sections of Maytoni's Exility magnetic recessed track at a 90-degree turn, maintaining electrical continuity through the corner. The connector measures 189mm in length and fits flush into the recessed track channel, with an oval profile that matches the track's cross-section and minimises the visible gap at the joint.

Designed for magnetic track lighting installations in residential and commercial settings, the connector allows track runs to follow room perimeters, turn around columns, or create L-shaped and U-shaped layouts without breaking the circuit. The magnetic interface on each end of the connector clips into the track ends and provides both mechanical support and DC 48V electrical connection, so track lights can cross the corner junction without interruption.

The connector is moulded from black plastic with an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry indoor use only. The 18mm width and 15mm height match the standard Exility recessed track dimensions, and the black finish sits flush with the track profile once installed. Installation requires the track sections to be cut to length and positioned so the connector bridges the corner, with the magnetic ends clicking into place without visible fixings.

Is this compatible with other magnetic track systems?

No. The connector is designed specifically for Maytoni's Exility magnetic recessed track system and matches that track's oval profile, dimensions and DC 48V magnetic interface. It will not fit other manufacturers' track systems even if they appear visually similar.

Can it be used with surface-mounted Exility track?

No. This is a recessed track connector designed to sit flush within a ceiling channel. For surface-mounted Exility track, a different corner connector part is required.

What angle does it create?

The connector is designed for 90-degree corners. The 189mm length allows the track sections to meet at right angles, creating L-shaped or perimeter runs around rectangular rooms.

Does it carry power through the corner?

Yes. The magnetic ends provide both mechanical connection and DC 48V electrical continuity, so magnetic track lights can be positioned anywhere along the track run including either side of the corner joint.
