Description

The Exility is a 1m white aluminium magnetic track designed for 48V low-voltage lighting systems, accepting magnetic-mount spotlights, pendant adaptors and linear modules. The track mounts directly to ceilings via a concealed fixing channel running the length of the aluminium extrusion, eliminating the need for a separate conduit or visible cable runs.

Designed for modular lighting in residential living rooms, home offices, retail displays and commercial reception areas, the track allows magnetic fixtures to be positioned anywhere along the 100cm length and repositioned without tools. The 48V DC supply runs through two copper conductor rails inside the track, with magnetic fixtures locking onto the track and making contact automatically. The white powder-coated finish on the aluminium suits neutral and bright interiors where the track itself should recede rather than contrast.

The track profile measures 52mm high by 26mm wide, giving a low-profile appearance on ceilings between 2.4-3m. The aluminium extrusion dissipates heat from connected fixtures and the two-year guarantee covers the electrical components and conductor rails. Multiple 1m sections can be joined end-to-end using track connectors (sold separately) to create longer runs up to 3m on a single 48V power supply, or corner connectors allow L-shaped and grid configurations.

What fixtures are compatible with this track?

The Exility track accepts any 48V DC magnetic-mount fixture from the Maytoni Exility range, including spotlights, pendant adaptors and linear modules. The magnetic base locks onto the track and makes electrical contact automatically without requiring tools or manual wiring.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Multiple 1m sections can be connected end-to-end using straight track connectors, or configured into L-shapes and grids using corner connectors. Both connector types are sold separately. A single 48V power supply typically supports up to 3m of combined track length depending on the total wattage of connected fixtures.

How is the track powered?

The track requires a 48V DC power supply (sold separately) connected at one end via a feed-in connector. The power supply converts 230V mains to 48V DC, which is distributed through two copper conductor rails running inside the aluminium extrusion.

Is the track surface-mounted or recessed?

Surface-mounted. The track fixes directly to the ceiling via a concealed fixing channel along its length, sitting proud of the ceiling surface by 52mm. For recessed installation a separate recessed track variant is available in the Exility range.
