Description

The Tree is a 6 light branching chandelier with a matt black metal frame and six smoked glass shades arranged on irregular asymmetric arms that extend from a central node. Each arm terminates in an ovoid smoked glass shade housing a single E27 lamp holder, with the bulb visible through the tinted glass. The fitting drops from a circular black ceiling plate on a short stem before splitting into its branching configuration. This is an ex-display unit.

At 168cm wide and 42cm tall, the Tree suits larger rooms where it can occupy the space above a long dining table, a kitchen island over 1.6m, or an open-plan living and dining area. The horizontal spread is the defining feature, so it works best in rooms wide enough to take the full reach without the shades sitting close to walls. The branching layout means the six light points sit at varying heights, casting overlapping pools of light rather than a single uniform wash.

The smoked glass shades soften the appearance of E27 filament bulbs, which are the recommended pairing, clear or amber filament bulbs read through the tinted glass and become part of the visual composition. The matt black metalwork is finished to limit reflections and pairs with industrial, mid-century modern and contemporary interiors.
